How to create AI videos on Movlume

A practical guide to choosing AI video models, writing prompts, preparing images and controlling duration, resolution and credits on Movlume.

1. Choose the right starting material

Use text-to-video when you are inventing a scene. Use image-to-video when the composition or subject already exists in a picture. Reference-to-video uses the reference inputs accepted by the selected model; it is not a universal video file editor. Frame control is useful when you want to guide a starting and ending composition.

2. Write one shot before a whole story

A useful prompt describes the subject, setting, action, camera and light. For example: ‘A ceramic cup beside a window; steam rises as the camera slowly pushes in; soft morning light; one continuous shot.’ Start with one action and one camera direction. Save scene changes for separate clips that you can edit together.

3. Prepare images for movement

Use a sharp source with a clear subject and room around moving parts. Match the intended aspect ratio where possible. A large camera orbit asks the model to invent unseen surfaces. Use modest movement first and check faces, hands, text and product details in the result. Only upload material you have permission to use.

4. Select the exact model and settings

Model variants have different capabilities. A text-only entry does not accept image input, and a quality setting may restrict duration. Select the exact variant first, then choose duration, resolution, aspect ratio and audio from the controls the generator offers. Read the model guides for supported inputs.

5. Check credits before you generate

The generator shows the estimated Movlume credit charge for the selected settings. Longer duration, higher quality and some audio options can change that charge. Movlume credits are a product balance, not a one-to-one mapping to provider credits or a fixed dollar cost per second. Compare the displayed estimate before every submission.

6. Review, adjust and download

After signing in, submit your generation and follow its status in My Creations. Review the movement, composition and ending before spending credits on a longer or higher-resolution version. Change one variable at a time so you can judge its effect. Generation time depends on the model and provider load.

If a task fails or appears stuck

Check its current status before submitting another copy. A failed task and its credit record may need reconciliation; avoid assuming that a pending task has failed. Contact support@movlume.com with the task identifier and the time of the attempt. Never send passwords, API keys or payment card details.
